Step 3.) gods and goddesses

As god or goddess… your character’s behavior will be decided by your listing in the forum thread to meet the IC. This is how your character is expected to act and behave while they are online. Some of you will do things others would be in trouble for doing… because it is the nature of that god to behave that way based on literature. IF Hestia pops from player to player she is breaking a rule… if HERA does it and asks if someone has seen Zeus…. She is in character. IF Hera kills someone for imposing on her privacy… she is in the wrong… however if a players sees Artemis naked.. she may turn him into a deer and set a pack of dogs on him. Hera was known to turn people into things if she thought Zeus was sleeping with him… so if someone is doing something wrong… she might tell them she thinks they are a girlfriend of Zeus and poof them into a cow…. But you get my point….

STAY IN CHARACTER!
Our gods and goddesses are chosen by me. When the server first began all my friends were made gods cuz this was never going to be more than a place for me to do scripting and learn c#.

First and formost are my kids and my nephew. Persephone, Razer, Blaze, Charjaco, and ChanceCooper. My little Paxton may play sometimes as well.. he is 3 so when he does I make him a pretty something and bless him so he can run after the big boys.

Gods that are here still from the time frame where the world was created are... Persephone, Hera/Artemis, Bast/Cat, Hestia and Apollo. We use some of Cats scripts here... and occasionally he helps me with a scripting question. So you may never see him... or rarely at best...

Next came the gods who were added because I used their advice and or services so much as players they became crucial to me. These are Hestia, Poseidon and Hades... and Xeno... (who has sort of went back to being a player when he is here.) These gods give so much and have given so much of their time and hard work here... they better be respected! They have help make this server... and I will always base my decisions on those who have donated their time or money to help me run this place!

Now days... gods and goddesses are chosen because I see them as people who have convinced me they see the higher good and need of the server over their own personal needs.

Players who do not see eye to eye with me about our rules and complain or whine about them... will not be promoted. This a team of people I EXPECT TO ROLEPLAY THEIR NAMESAKES EXCLUSIVELY! IF they are acting out of character AT ALL they are in jepordy of their jobs.

I need people who I can trust to uphold ALL the server rules ALL the time without EXCEPTION! I do NOT need people who create discention and havock while I am away for family or work related issues. IF I find you create more turmoil and pain to me I will let you go. IF you have too many problems understanding the rules of the server.... I don't need you... and most importantly... if you can not find a polite way to disagree with me.... I will not keep you as staff.

The gods and goddesses will wear the WHITE robes if they wear a staff robe.... other colors are not permissible. Unless your Hera wearing her marrying robe during a wedding ceromony as stated she did at these events in literature.

So here are the rules for gods and goddesses.

• Obey all Server RULES, ALL the time! Reprecussions for rules broken apply to gods and goddesses etc... the same as any other player.
  
• You are ROLEPLAYING a god or goddess, Stay in character. YOU MAY NOT DO ANYTHING that is against the nature of that character for ANY REASON! YOU are not staff and may not use staff commands for any reason unless it has been assigned by Atheena.
  
• Those of you who do have jobs on the server must wear your robes when working so that players know not to bother you. IF you do not have on your robe and I find you doing things out of character.... you will be reprimanded.
  
• You are not allowed to add anything to the game unless I have ask you to specifically. You may NOT test stuff out anywhere in the lands EVER except in Green Acres.
  
• You may NEVER alter a player or his [props, [skills etc... in any way for any reason what so ever.
  
• You may not change player names, hair or beards.
  
• You may not create anything for any player for any reason.
  
• If you do a player quest... you must purchase the items giving for rewards from vendors or from one of your own characters or character vendors or purchase them from a player vendor.
  
• Items of any kind may not be created on this server by anyone besides an admin.
  
• You must be visible at all times if you are not roleplaying an invironmental situation. (ie.. talking pig, tree chair etc...) IT is wrong and an invasion of privacy to follow players around. I don't care WHY you think you can do it... IT IS WRONG and an invasion of their privacy.
  
• Keep Hearall on so that players who are roleplaying to a god may be seen by you. IF you go to them and are not the god they are calling upon or do not wish to reveal yourself.... you may stay hidden and use the invironment to assist the player. REMEMBER pigs and chairs can NOT ressurect players. STAY IN CHARACTER AT ALL TIMES!
  
• You may change your name and put on your robe if you wish to go to them as that god for which they have called. Just because we do not have a functioning god of the name they use... does not mean you can't go to them and roleplay it for them if you know the god well enough.
  
• We do not do ANYTHING for players who are not roleplaying to a god. Remember real people who expected to get assistance from a god would NEVER yell or fuss at the god.... the minute they start that... LEAVE!!!!
  
• DO NOT stand and listen to any player complain or whine about anything for any reason. Inform them to please post their concerns on the forums.
  
• Do not give a player anything he says he has lost for any reason unless I have told you prior to the request that you may give these out. NOTE: Just because I have told Posiedon or Hades they can hand something out does not mean all gods can.
  
• Hestia does a lot of server maintanance for me. She may be seen adding deco and fluffing up the areas... She may be seen removing stuff.... this is her job. Vesta her twin sister helps her. Please do not disturb them.
  
• Gods are only allowed to reprimand players for breaking SERVER RULES!!!! DO NOT bother a player unless they have broken a rule. AND if you are going to... icq me or send me a PRIVATE MSG IN THIS FORUM BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING IN CLUDING JAILING A PLAYER!
  
• IF I am told by a player something has occured and I do not have any thing from you and I Find it to be true.... the player has the upper hand. I can NOT defend you. YOU MUST KEEP ME INFORMED BEFORE YOU DO THINGS.
  
• IF you are reprimanded for breaking server rules 3 times.... you will lose your god account. I do not intend to discuss this with you. Just know at that time... GAME OVER.
  
• Remember the server can run itself and gods are NOT needed as staff... you are here because I think you would make a great actor and enhance the server. REMEMBER, that you are here MAINLY to enhance the players experiance... and give them an opportunity to roleplay with gods and goddesses. IF you prove that I was wrong in selecting you... I will have no problem admiting it and letting you go. Enhancing it does not mean saving them.. I do not think we have any paramedics roleplayed on this server or medics... However,.... we could have some.... In the future.
  
• Never argue with a player. IF they are being argumentative, advise them to post in the forums and then excuse yourself saying... Atheena is calling to you ... and you must go. Don't listen to any of their insults for any reason.
