I heard tales....
Somewhere in the fronzen north...beyond where even SANTA dares to go....
That there is a marvelous object...a WHITE DYE TUB...
and so, my good friend of many years Yuki-Gozen put a dozen bolts of bloth on my pack with the words, "Bring them back white..."
With a shimmer of light, the soft rolling waves of my ocean home faded away, to be replaced by distant sleigh bells and white....everywhere...
It was such a jolly atmosphere you could almost see the jolly old elf himself...yet danger lay just beyond the gates...
Roars of bears and the howls of wolves fell upon my ear...in the direction I least want to hear them from...the direction I must go....
The gates uponed with a clank and I and my new horse (poor Charlie having been long gone) dashed across the frozen tundra...many long days we traveled...often by starlight...
and we came upon a house...all white and laying in ruins...it was garded by foul spiders that emitted a bluish glow...and an even fouler stench came form the hordes of trolls that accompanied them.
My horse and I hurled ourselves into hordes occupying the house. Bravely we....oooOOOooooOOOoo...
...awoke in the house of the healer...strolling over to the stables I came upon a dozen frightened horses drawing straws to see which one would go with me...
Once again I made my way across the frozen wasteland...only this time to find myself hip deep in troll blood and spider guts....the floors were slimy with it...I ransacked the house...only to leave frustrated...and headed in the direction I dreaded even more than the foul spiders...
Ice mountain...
What can I say of the frozen tunnels...
filled with giant frost spiders, enourmous snakes, Ice elementals....artic ogre lords and even enourmous white dragons...some call wryms....
Yet even these where naught compared to the horrorers which lay beyond the tunnels....
A ruined home....grandly furnished, yet its former occupants dead...nothing but bones...bones used to pick the teeth of the two horrors that now reigned over this place....Ice fiends...
I had learned my lesson in earlier days with balrons...
(balron 4, Tatsumi 1 is now the score)....
and I made use of my Samauri skills of hiding and stealth...many long hours I crept about the mansion...avoiding the gaze of the fiends...
Yet my fate was to leave empty handed...
Defeated...I, and a very relieved horse, made our way back to town. We stopped so I could curry my furry companion. I opened a chest to find a brush and what do I find? Loose hay....
I risked my life, and lost it several times...I had waded hip deep through troll blood and spider guts...
I fought off ogre lords, and white wryms, and even braved the lair of the ice fiends....
...and my prize? Loose hay....
