I know it seems soon, but I am working on... upgrading POM again. I have a friend who has all the scripts for the new lands and working characters... Hera and I test it yesterday... it is awesome... the only hesitancy I have is that ... it is not with RunUO... it is a seperate group... but as runuo seems to have lost interest in a great product and gotten more interest in their servers or something else... (complaining maybe?) These guys seem very gung ho about it... so I am working with it at this time to see what we get vs what we lose (if anything) by not sticking to runUO.
I hope to have finished making this decision by this weekend. Wish me luck... just ask Hera this will ROCK totally if we do it! I can not stand to have POM in this limbo feeling.... so hoping that either RunUO gets out an upgrade soon (doubtful) or we go with this new one.
Since we will simply upgrading the server this should not effect you all until the night I bring it live... and most of you will NEVER know it changed except all the stuff that didnt exhist now does...
As a result of this.... I am not currently working on some of the smaller things on POM.. however, Mangez will continue working with these... as soon as he turns in his items.. I will get him working on updating our vendors so they buy and sell what we are used to from N&L. Also... we hope to be doing the special items we had that we could make as well.. IE toys, bags, large nails.. and cloths.
I will be giving the bags to Hera this week to give you to you all... I had to see how the server was running before giving them out... did not want to do another wipe.... to all of you ... my best wishes....
