Warning: NEW OSI PATCHES!

Ok folks.. a LOT Of problems are being caused from players who are getting the patches from osi.... the version I have on the server is... 4.0.3e patch 27.

IF you have gotten the new ones... here are some of the problems you may be experiancing:

1.) Can't see ridable drakes and polar bears when someone is on them.
2.) Vendors may not show you what they have... only give prices and some prices are NOT CORRECT!
3.) Using the house tool will give you tiles which are not usable on the server.
4.) Farm hand wants to sell you Diamonds... however you can buy them.. they are seeds once purchased.
5.) you can NOT add teleporters to your homes the new customize tool has a roof you can add but takes away the teleporters... ( why could the duffs not just put the teleporters on the floor tiles list??? UMMMMM)

If you know of any more I have forgotten please post here and I will update the list.

RunUO has again taken down the website.. so everything is totally GONE! And there is no help there... or information as to what they are going to do about it. IF they can etc.....

Here is what some did last time the patches messed everything up... they reinstalled UO then started taking the patches... they watched the install part and when it went past the version they wanted.. they stopped the install and it let them go in.... I am hoping this will help those of you who are having this problem....

I just got word that if you go into their (RunUO's) irc channel they kick you out if you ask how long before they are back up or have a fix.... so....

Are there any updates on this that you know of? I also no longer have the nice custom client looks on login or in game for the paper doll, and other menus. Everything is standard OSI stuff now since I patched to UO:SE

Would it be better to have a seperate install of pre-UO:SE to run N&L with?

Reset the patches on UOGateway for N&L.This should give you back the custom stuff

I reste the patches in uogateway and it still did not fix it. Still all the standard OSI client and everything else.

Ok there is something else you can try.As you know there are 2 sections to UOGateway.Your section.A list of the shards you play and then there is the public section that list ALL the shards.

On your section you will see N&L and out to the right there is a trash can symbol there.Choose it and delete it from that section.Then go and get it again from the public section of UOGateway.


If that does not work you will have to uninstall UO again and then reinstall it and only let it patch up to the current verison of uo that the shard has.You will have to get with Atheena on the version that is used for the server.

OK, I reset all the patches... I even went in and deleted the patch directory to ensure that I get a fresh copy and all that did not work. Also, I uninstalled UO:SE and reinstalled UO:AoS and patched it all up to current and still it will not get the custom files to work.

As a final try i did get the latest copy of uogateway and still no go.

Atheena - Do you know what the customs work on as far as patch version?

I may try and uninstall and not load that meg huge patch 4t I think it was... and see if it works then. I will try that later today and see what happens.

I reinstalled and patched up to 4.03e patch 27 and everything is working great again. I will just keep two different installs

Im a little rusty.. at this stuff been a while...
Umm.. I cant see rideable polar bears or drakes.. where do I get the link to download this patch to correct the stuff?.......

I had to reinstall UO... I have a copy of UO:AoS 7th Ann Ed. I then let it patch from the OSI patch servers till it installed/applied 4.0.3e then I canceled the patches. That is the only way I know of to revert backwards.

okay will uninstall and reinstall uo again and stop the patches at 4.0.3e patch 27 and see if that helps any

it works... which is why I have it posted in the first section ehehhehehee..... it is the ONLY thing that works at this time. My friend Killerbeez has a fix for it.... I will be seeking his divine intell when we are up and going again to see if I can integrate it to POM and N&L.
