Our crash today appears to be from using 3D rather than the 2D client. Seems that the houses can not handle it. Remember folks.. as it says on the websites ... RunUO scripts for 2D. Yes 3D has worked in the past but appears that it didnt today...

Crash? Here is what may be causing a problem. Keep in mind I DO NOT use a 3d program...I use 2d...
so both times I was using the house customization tool. In OSI I was in the habit of exiting the housing design tool by simply clicking on the "x" on the upper right hand of the tool. Each time I did this AND tried to immediately enter the house afterwards the server crashed. I note that on OSI at this exact moment, each time the OSI PROGRAM makes you wait a few seconds after the house customization tool closes before re-entering the house. IF THIS IS the probem, it can be solved simply by waiting a few seconds before re-entering the house after exiting house customization mode.

Dusti Rose was customizing her home and when she finished she clicked commit, then after which she clicked ok near the price of the customization. Haveing been removed from the home for it to be finalized, she moved toward the home entrance after a few seconds. At which time the shard crashed at 10:38 pm on Thursday Evening.

When I moved in to Zento City, I switched to classic style homes for this very reason. I have demolished and rebuilt any number of times as I upgrade the house each time....all without any resulting crash. The last time I upgraded from a classic stone and plaster to a stone workshop, about an hour or so before the mighty "crash."
Across the road from me, is Dusti's home and another...both custom houses. Is it the case that after each time someone hits "commit" the server goes crash upon re-entering the house? Or has anyone managed to customize a home without crashing the server?
Just trying to help figure it out.

It seems that the problem was the script for static housing and the commit button were clashing. As of last time I got to speak with Our Lady Atheena she mentioned its fixed.

it should have also taken care of the problem with containers... not being the container they are supposed to be when they are opened... Thanks for posting this Hestia Back to the drawing board on static homes... WISH ME LUCK!!!
