I have seen it before…orc villages and cities…but never like this. I have seen the orc forts of malas; in fact there is a small outpost just outside the southern entrance to the mountain passes. I have seen a bustling orc city…a city underground. When I first saw this city, it appeared to be there for the mining industry that was taking place. It was huge. It was guarded by orc brutes. The city was teaming with life and row after row of shops. Each proprietor was friendly enough…but its citizens…ah its citizens attacked me on sight. This is the first time in my travels, however, that I have come to a place such as this…a place I have come to call “New Orc City”….true, it is more of a village. However, not only where the proprietors friendly, but the citizens where as well. In fact I found that people…er…excuse me….orcs…had begun to move into the village. There were already to compounds with wooden palisades.
The owner of one of the forts…one Mr. “Doopus” as he calls himself…and I have already spoken with each other. I found him to be friendly and cordial, if not a bit difficult to understand. It appears that Doopus had already asked Zoso if he would get him a “big chicken” (it turns out he was asking me to tame an ostard for him) but was told by Zo Zo that he hated orcs and that he would gladly kill Doopus on sight. For myself I was all too happy to oblige doopus. I had already spent some time in the Lost Lands looking for “big chickens” myself. Long I wandered the hills and rills of the lands outside Delucia until I found the nesting grounds of the ostard and the frenzied ostard. So Mr. Doopus, if you read this, I have a “big chicken” for you. I did speak with one of the founders of the city and was told that only orcs are allowed to live there, even though all appear to be welcome.
